Stop Cap and Trade legislation Petition

I have started a petition that I am going to send to the United States Congress demanding they put an end to this nonsense of cap and trade of "greenhouse" gas emissions. The National Accounting office estimates that it will cost in excess of $30 trillion over 100 years and result in only a 0.15 degree reduction in global mean temperature. The cost obviously does not justify the benefit. Here is the wording of the petition:
"We the undersigned demand that the government of the United States of America shelf all plans for a cap and trade system of “greenhouse” gas emission. There is no evidence that any plan to curtain emissions of “greenhouse” gasses will have any effect on temperatures or climate. All a cap and trade system will accomplish is putting undue pressure on corporations, small businesses and taxpayers at large.
The evidence that “greenhouse” gas emissions are directly related to or caused the minor warming (approximately .7 degrees Celsius) from 1860 to 1998 is weak. There is much more scientific evidence to support the changes was part of the natural ebb and flow of temperatures and climate. All one has to do is look to history to see that over the past one thousand year the Earth has seen temperatures much warmer as well as much colder.
Since 1998 temperatures have decreased while the level of “greenhouse” gasses have increased. This is further evidence that “greenhouse” gasses are not the driver of the warming and climate changes of the last century.
The science of climate change is not settled. According to the IPCC’s own numbers, there were only four scientists that agreed to the causes of global warming and climate change being from man made sources. Not the wide “consensus” they claim to have. The Global Warming Petition Project current has the signatures of over to thirty-one thousand verified scientists that are skeptical on the theory of Anthropogenic Climate Change.
